Collision!

Collision! is a game full of crazy cauldron sliding antics! Be sure not to lose your marbles as you watch your cauldrons fly every which way! Earn the most points by sliding your cauldrons the closest to the center of the game board. Tally up each player’s score at the end of each round. The first player to reach 25 points or the player with the highest score total at the end of ten rounds is the winner!

My Role: I acted as producer and game designer on this project. Much of the work was put into balancing board factors and game mechanics across many iterations. Thus, it was incredibly important that all team members understood scheduled goals and sudden changes to the product. This was a good exercise in my ability to create a flexible schedule in order to create a polished product, while still avoiding too many last minute changes.

Collision! is a game that brings out the crazy physics of colliding objects. Players are given 3 cauldrons and 12 marbles each to divide amongst the cauldrons in any way they see fit. Then players will take turns sliding one of their cauldrons onto the board until all cauldrons are on the board. Then final positions of the cauldrons will be scored. Players score the most for being closest to the center of the board, but they could also lose points for being too far from the center, outside of the gray area, or even off the table! Two things are sure in Collision!: marbles will fly and fun will be had!
